Got the following on Tom:

Tom is still in jail.  He has to go back next Tues. the  22nd for
senticing.  It does not look good for Tom.  The rumor is that the other
side wants to come to a settlement, but that remains to be seen.  The
money was there yesterday to pay for the minor child's future child
support, but that was not what the Ct. wanted.  They apparantely said that
Tom did not live up to his diversion plea.  All I know is hearsay at this
point.  Tom needs all our support and prayers now and thru the next days.

Some more on Tom:

He also wants to thank everyone for the letters and clothing, which 
is really coming in handy.  He'll be in confinement until next Tues. 
for sure and after that we just don't know.  Did I tell you he is 
being held on a 50,000 bail in maximum security?  Can you believe it?
