The following is a statement from a former employee of mine....

STATEMENT

August 24, 1993 - I received a phone call from a gentleman at work who
identified himself as Mike Arronson (a private investigator out of
Minneapolis.)  He said he was looking for anything he could find on Tom
Padgett, personally.  I asked Mr. Arronson who he was working for and he
told me he could not divulge that information.

He asked what I knew about Tom.  I said the only thing knew about him
was that he was a nice man.  I asked him several times who he was
work(ing) for and he said he had to get permission from his client.

Mr. Arronson also mentioned that he was in the area (Troy.)  I asked
where he was staying.  He never did tell me.   I tried to find out as
much as could from Mr. Arronson.  He also asked me about Bill Kirkoff,
the former General Manager.

Again, I asked Mr. Arronson who he was working for and again he said he
could not tell me.  I asked if he was working for Mrs. Padgett
and he said "no."  I asked if he was working for
Radisson or the owners of the hotel and he said "no."
