Tom Padgett's Child Custody Case

Tom Padgett of Massachusetts has to return to
western Kentucky and stand trial on April 10th
on whether or not he should be sentenced to
1 to 5 years in prison for alleged offenses
where his scientologist ex-wife is the complaining witness.   (Dennis
Erlich case
all over again!)

Kentucky 4th Circuit Court Judge Charlie
Boteler reported to the local Madisonville
Messinger Newspaper (1/26/99  story
captioned PADGETT TOLD TO STOP
FAXING AND BLAMING SCIENTOLOGY)
".........he can go to the newspapers, on the
internet, even the Geraldo Rivera show if
he so choses, otherwise he'll be dragged
back here and sent to prison for up to
5 years!"   Padgett's lawyer, Russell Lloyd
said "This is unconstitutional."
